About Me

I’m a creative based in New York City. Much of my product experience has been in startups, spanning various sectors within the tech and gaming industries. I’ve received a dual M.S. in Information Science and Information Systems with a concentration in Connective Media from Cornell Tech. My B.S was in Information Science (concentrating in UI/UX) with a minor in Art and Design, which I received from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor.

While I primarily consider myself a designer, I’m passionate about accessibility research. At Cornell Tech, I contributed to HCI research in Professor Shiri Azenkot’s Enhancing Ability Lab. The research I assisted in primarily focused on how to make AR/VR more accessible for Blind or Low Vision and neurodivergent people.

Why The Themes?

My last name "林" means "woods" in Chinese. I wanted to take this space to interpret the theme of "woods" in different ways—either by flora, fauna, or general greenery.
