Based in Taichung, Taiwan, USON Card King is a graphic design firm that specializes in business cards. However, they also provide additional services for flier, sticker, stamp, book, print, and web banner design.

Each project had a turnaround time of about a day or less. I was required to make at least two versions of each design for the client. Giving the client two options to choose from gave them a sense of how certain typography and imagery could affect their branding.
Because USON Card King is located in Taiwan, we mainly spoke in Mandarin Chinese and the Taiwanese dialect. With Mandarin being my second language, I struggled for a while to adjust to the language barrier. But by the end of the internship, I was able to emerge with not only a better understanding of graphic design and clientwork, but also an improved conversational fluency in Mandarin Chinese.
